Finally- after five LONG months of nothing but work- (Chip being gone a total of three months this summer) we enjoyed an AWESOME day at Jordanelle Dam!! We are minutes away from three beautiful bodies of water! This dam is just five minutes from our house and it was so nice to finally enjoy it!
I have the GREATEST family and last night they all came up from Salt Lake and we had a giant sleepover- all sixteen of us! We had pizza and watched a movie. We woke up had waffles and headed to the water! The kids were loving it! At one point I was on the jet ski with Quincy and Chip was on the other one with William. We were splashing each other and having a great time! Quincy leaned back and said to me, "Mom- I love being out here as a family!" Isn't it true- there is NO greater joy than being with the ones you love... especially if those times are sometimes few and far between!

That sounds GREAT! I love it when kids recognize a special moment and don't take it for granted.
