"It's Time To Let Go!"

I have said before that Fall is my favorite time of year! I LOVE the weather, football season, the change in the leaves, Halloween and Thanksgiving. The one thing I don't love is saying goodbye to my kids as they head back to school!

This year I had to say goodbye to this little guy! He started Kindergarten and I can't believe it! He was so excited! I asked him about a week before school started what he thought would happen on his first day. His response, "I think they are going to put us in a room with a bunch of people we don't know." Well, he hit the nail on the head!

The positive was that he was so ready! He jumped out of the car and ran towards the school yelling, "Good Bye! Love you!" We followed him in because he didn't have a clue where to go! It was cute!

It is strange to have just one kid at home now! (Don't get any ideas!) He was really cute saying/squishing Kate goodbye!

I am really excited for him to take this big step in life! The kids were able to bring their favorite stuffed animal the first day and you will never guess what he took?!?! WILBUR!!

He has the GREATEST teacher in the world! I have heard nothing but great things about her!

I LOVE THESE GUYS!

As much as I hate to say goodbye, I am so proud of them for the wonderful people they are turning out to be! In the clever (and wise) words of Dori from Nemo, "It's time to let go. Everything's gonna be alright!" I think I have seen one too many Disney shows!

Aaaww, it is hard saying bye on the first day of Kindergarten. I balled like a baby on Alyese's 1st day, then treated myself to a girls day with a friend full of mani, pedi's, and lunch. To get our minds off of our babies going to school for the 1st time. Mason was easier but still made my eyes water, and we'll have to just wait and see with miss Hurricane Hailey Rae, :)! How are you liking just one at home? I love it! SO much more peaceful! How about you? Love all the pics, they are so handsome! xox

SO CUTE! I'm excited for Quincer and Wilbur to be at school. It's so fun to be in elementary!
From what I've heard it seems like Kate still counts as 3 kids... She is a curious little one isn't she?!!
