This little character is always making us laugh! Tonight for Family Home Evening we got out the Christmas decorations. We unwrapped the nativity that I brought home from Israel twelve years ago. As we carefully set out each piece we explained the story again to the kids. We asked them if they remembered what the gifts were that the Wise men brought the baby Jesus. William said with a grin, "GOLD, FRANKENSTEIN AND MUSH!"

OUR LITTLE ELF!!

I didn't realize you had been to Israel - did you go with BYU or just a private tour? I went Spring 95 with BYU and thought it was amazing... but for some reason I didn't get a nativity set (I think I was somewhat short on money?) and have always regretted it... So I'm so glad you have one to enjoy!
