HE IS...

THE KING OF THE MOMENT! I can't believe it was seven years ago that this sweet guy entered our lives! He has been a joy and a complete blessing every day of his life!

The day started out with breakfast in bed- his choice: french toast, eggs and milk. We of course brought it in on The Red Plate (tradition from when I was little). We decorated the tray with some of the things we love about Quincy.

Here are seven little things we love about you:

1. I think the number one thing is your tender heart. You are so sweet and sensitive, Quincy!
2. You are quick to obey! You have a desire to be good and obedient! Thank you for your example to your siblings!
3. Your dimples! SO glad you got those from your dad!
4. You are so smart! I am proud of you for doing your best in school and for being an excellent student!
5. You are a great friend! Even though kids can be mean, you always return love and choose to be Christ-like to everyone.
6. You are the best big brother! William can hardly wait until you come home from school!
7. I love that you listen to your parents and value what we are trying to teach you!

Midday was filled with basketball decorated cupcakes brought to The King's class. Late afternoon brought the Star Wars Party- games were played, smores were made, droids were killed, The Queen was found, light sabers were fought, the pinata was broken, candy was had, presents were devoured and a great day comes to an end!

Thank you little Q- for blessing our lives! Can't wait to see all you become!

So fun to watch them grow up, and see the people they are becoming! I have thought for a few years now about having a "red plate tradition"! You know I should stop thinking about it, and just start doing it right?! Anyway, Happy Birthday to your little man..just think, this time next year you will be planning a baptism:)

What a sweet boy. I too am grateful for his dimples! SOOO CUTE! Love in the last picture how the girls are all cute on one side and the boys are all making faces and being boys on the other side. Funny!

He is such a doll! I remember wanting him to be my kid when he was a sunbeam! I remember thinking, if we could be guaranteed a kid like Quincy, David and I would have kids right away!

Looks like a FUN day ~ you know how to celebrate a birthday!! Quincy really is an adorable little guy, and he seems so grownup for his age.
