In this family we start planning Halloween in July. My kids are cruising through magazines and surfing the net- making their master plan! We love to do family themes... at least until they grow older and too cool! I LOVE Halloween and look forward to dressing up! 
The boys chose the Star Wars theme. Quincy was Anakin Skywalker and William was Jango Fett. They were counting down the days for a over a month! 
We had to have little Kate be Princess Leia... after seeing this cute little costume! She was so cute! I couldn't believe that she kept those buns on her head all night! Chip was Obi Won Kenobi- he is always a good sport to play along... way to go dad! 
I was Queen Amidala- who else? Kate kept staring at me and trying to take the costume off- I am sure I was a scary site to see! 
Quincy was ready for the photo shoot to end- but I was trying to get ONE good one of the three of them! Oh, well! It was a GREAT night! The kids had a blast and ate candy for dinner! They should be able to do that at least one time a year, shouldn't they? They are already planning costumes for next year! We can't wait!

We did impromptu family costumes this year, but next year I am totally going to do a theme.
Now I just have to think of something for me, my husband, and two boys!

We are huge Star Wars fans! I think my kids would do flips over your Amidalah costume. Aidan was begging for Rachel to be yoda. Leia is much better!
