She's Here-And We LOVE Her To Pieces!!

She made it! Little Katherine Kasey came January 24th at 6:45 pm. She weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 21 inches long. She was named after my great-grandmother, Catherine Casey and my favorite sister in the whole world, Kasey.

The boys were SO excited they could hardly stand it! This is their first look at their new sister!

She is SO sweet! We think she looks just like her brothers (mostly Quincy) with a BIG dimple in her chin and one in her left cheek!

The boys kept saying, "Oh, look at her tiny feet! Oh, look at her tiny hands!" They can't get over how tiny she is!

Little Kate has long fingers and long, skinny feet! They are so cute!!

We were so excited to finally get her here! We are loving every second with her!

I was WONDERING if the baby had come yet! Yay! She's absolutely ravishing. And those boys--seriously. Could they be any more precious, just beaming at their new baby sister. Those photos of them are truly treasures. :) Their little radiant faces made me happy.

CONGRATULATIONS, cute new mommy!

Speaking of ravishing: you are more beautiful than any brand-new mommy has a right to be. (pout) What's with the supermodel post-labor you? I'm so envious. I look like hash browns after birth.

I have been anxiously waiting to hear about your new arrival! She is DARLING! She does look like Quincy (who is a doll by the way). I'm sure you're glad to NOT be pregnant (I know I will be) and to have such a beautiful little girl! Congratulations from us! And BTW, how is it possible that you look so good in the pictures (um . . . your hair is done and stuff . . .)? I certainly didn't look good after giving birth!

And I'm with Crystal. You are way too pretty to have just delivered. I always look like I gave birth to a tanker truck and then it ran over me.

I'm just checking in, wondering how New Baby & New Mommy are doing...Hope all is well and you are deliriously happy.

You ladies are TOO kind! Thank you for all of your sweet comments! I didn't want to include any pictures of me- I HATE hospital pictures of me! But it was fun to see these pictures of our growing family!

We are making it day by day! It has been a TOUGH 3 weeks! We had nursing issues the first week - then Chip and the boys were REALLY sick the next 10 days! He didn't hold her for the first 2 weeks! They finally got over their yuck then she was sick for about 4 days- so I was on pins and needles trying to keep her well and avoid the RSV.

So- between no sleep and taking care of everyone in the house- I am a bit tired- BUT staying happy and positive! She is a sweet little thing and SUCH a blessing!

I hope you are making Newborn Notes, because I've completely forgotten how to manage one. You've got 'til June (my due date) to compile your tips for success!

(gulp)

Laura you are so talented!! I think your girl looks so much like Chip and your boys have more of you in them--either way, they are all BEAUTIFUL!! I hear ya on the first 3 weeks, it sounds just like mine have been! And they tell you not to take your babies out in public--what can you do when you have 3 germy kids at home?
