Have I ever said- I just LOVE where we live? Saturday was pure heaven on earth! It has been snowing all week and we were finally able to go out and enjoy it! The sun was shinning and the snow was pure powder! We hardly needed a jacket it was so nice outside!! People were outside on their snowmobiles and four-wheelers and I would have killed to have been on the ski slopes! With only one week left before I deliver- I didn't think that would be the smartest idea!
We took the kids sledding and needless to say, they had a blast! Two hours of running up and slidding down wore them out completely! They were going off jumps and having so much fun!
I couldn't believe how brave they were! William is only three and he couldn't get enough of the jumps!! Quincy is usually pretty cautious- but he was SO excited about getting air on the jumps!
They had so much fun making snow angels! They would lay down- make an angel, stand up, take two steps, fall down and make another one! This went on for a good 20 minutes! Of course the day wasn't complete without a snow ball fight and a good wrestle in the snow with their dad!
We enjoyed a beautiful dinner the night before with some good friends- in Midway. There is a neat little restuarant off main street called the Mountain House Grill. As we were coming out from dinner, the snow was coming down in giant flakes and we saw a deer run across the street! It was so neat! So, if you are in need of a little slice of heaven- just give us a call, there is plenty to share around here! We would love to have you for a weekend!

How fun! Although, I wouldn't trade our Texas weather for that snow ever. Really not a fan of snow.
So weird that you can't get on my blog. What happens when you go? Did you click on Megan's link on her latest entry? I did and it worked fine. I'm so sorry. That's so weird. It's not like it's private, or anything...
Good luck next week!!! How exciting! Can't wait to see pictures.
Rochelle- I signed up for bloglines and when I go to your site I click on sign in and it says, "Hello, Laura" It then won't show me anything new. I can see everything on the top and sides- but nothing else! I will keep trying!
It looks like your boys are having so much fun. Sometimes I miss the snow but not enough to move to it! I would love to come visit you sometime soon! I can't wait for next week. You little girl is going to be such a cutie!
Oh, that does sound heavenly. :) I would love to visit snow for a weekend or so, but then--take me back to Texas! I love this warm weather in January. ;)
Looks like you guys had a blast!
Have you resubscribed? Everyone had to resubscribe, because my software updated. Can you get to it through my profile right here? Or are you just trying through Bloglines?
Ok, I'm taking you up on your offer. We'll be there in a week.
(Ha ha. Did I give you a heart attack? I'd never to that to you especially with your pending delivery!)
Yay! A new post! I've been eagerly waiting! And I'd forgotten how very close you are to meeting your new babe! Oh, how exciting! I cannot WAIT to see the newborn pictures. Good luck with delivery :)
hey- it looks like a lot of fun.
we are coming for this weekend for a visit... but then, you might be having a baby. :)
Laura your boys are just so darling. I'll bet your little girl is going to be so cute. Good luck with everything next week. Can't wait to see pictures of the little one.
Your kids are so dang cute!! It looks like such a blast! We also went sledding over Christmas and our boys loved it. Reading this made me remember when we went sledding together last year. Blake and Chip racing while pulling the boys behind that.
I didn't know that you liked to ski! How is it that I didn't know that?? We will have to go skiing next winter together.
Your kids are so cute!! What a great mom you are to go sledding in your current condition!
Is the baby here? I can't wait to hear all about it!
Thursday is the BIG day!! yea!! We can't wait!!!!
Wow, I'm way behind. I bet that baby is here already! So...congrats! How fun for you to have a little girl now, but I'm sure she'll do her share of wrestling in the snow and getting air off jumps with the boys!
