Well... it's hard to believe but I have had this day on my calendar for 10 months now! Today I bought tickets for the infamous Polar Express Train Ride in Heber City. Yes- with FIVE months until Christmas- these tickets are a high commodity around here and if you aren't planning ahead- you might miss the train!
This hour and a half train ride takes you through the high mountains to arrive in none other than The North Pole. The train is filled with Elves, Mrs. Clause, hot chocolate and of course a reading of the Polar Express story by one of Santa's helpers! The ultimate highlight is picking up Santa in the North Pole and bringing him back to Heber.
Although I was planning ahead and got my tickets early, I haven't started my Christmas shopping or anything! But it did kinda get me excited for Christmas!

That sounds like alot of fun. We may be going also, I just need to corridinate dates with my parents.
Wish I were seeing you this weekend. Too bad Chip is out of town. We should really plan an Office premire party. I know the boys would LOVE to get together.
I am glad you guys can have a little get-away! I wish Chip were in town- it would have been FUN to meet you in Park City for dinner! Have fun!
Sounds like a great time. We have something similar here in Ft. Worth. I waited too long last year and it was sold out. Thanks for the reminder.
I am also getting excited for Christmas. Val's baby is due Dec. 17, so we are ramping up our Christmas prep this year. We hope to be totally done by Thanksgiving.
Julie- I think I am going to follow your lead and get mine dine before Dec 1st- Christmas card and all! I know I won't feel like doing it in December- 9 months pregnant!
What an awesome thing! Your family will have so much fun doing that. Makes me excited for Christmas, too. What an awesome mom.
BTW, Congrats on baby #3 coming in January! I didn't know you were pregnant. I hope you are feeling well. I am so excited for you!!! And, no I haven't had my baby yet. I get induced day after tomorrow. Hallelujah!
