Pure Sweetness!

My boys have been on a little kick, lately! They want to know which is "the BEST thing" for every scenario! They are into winning, being the fastest, the strongest, etc. I can't imagine where they inherited that from? I think it's a guy thing! ;)

They like to ask me all kinds of questions, "Mom, if you could only have one drink the rest of your life, which one is the BEST for you?" "Water," I reply. They probe, "What about milk?" I respond, "That's good for you too, but, water is the BEST!"

They continue with just about every food possible and compare and contrast each and every one! "Which vitamin is the VERY BEST?" (I still don't have a good answer for that one!)

The other day William asks, "Mom, which is the VERY best fruit?" I answer, "Probably, blueberries." "Nooooo- guess again," he responds. "Well, oranges." "Nooooo," he continues. Not sure where this is going, I continue to guess almost every fruit I can think of. He then responds, "No, mom! It's the-fruit-from-the-Tree-of-Life!" Well, at least some things we teach them stick!

That's so cute. They are TRUE boys. Isaac was into googling the "best, biggest, tallest, fastest" thing. So we ended up buying him the Guinness book of World Records book. A world of answers and entertainment for an 8 year old.

I'm sure you really know that they get that competativeness from there dad right?!!! Chip used to make up races all the time for him and I. He would say"I bet you can't beat me to the mail box and back barefoot, without stepping on the cracks either!"or I bet I can shower and dress before you can." or my personal favorite is I bet I can make more 3point shots than you can." Everything was a competition with him!!! It was fun some times, but after you loose at everything you start to hate the competition. Although it didn't tramitize me enough, b/c now I'm competitive just as bad! LOL!!! Good ol' memories!

Well, maybe it is all from Chip, but I do recall a certain fierce competitor in basketball and volleyball in high school who had very pretty long brown hair....
